Owen Torrey is a writer from Toronto. His work can be found in The Literary Review of Canada, Canadian Literature, Geist, Maisonneuve, Gulf Coast, Columbia Journal, Oxonian Review, Best Canadian Poetry, Contemporary Verse 2, The Malahat Review, League of Canadian Poets (poets.ca), ZYZZYVA, Hello Mr., Xtra, Exclaim!, and elsewhere. He has been nominated for the CBC-Radio Canada Poetry Prize and the Montreal International Poetry Prize, and awarded the Roger Conant Hatch Prize for Lyric Poetry. His debut collection, Unseasonal, is forthcoming from VĂ©hicule Press. Owen currently lives in Providence, RI, where he is an MFA candidate in poetry at Brown University.
